THE 4RTH COMMANDMENT

What is the 4rth commandment?            What does the 4rth commandment says?                                                                It says:Honour your father and mother, that your days, may be long upon the land which the Lord your God is giving you(Exodus 20:12).                                                                                                                                                                          .If you know the 10 commandments, the 4rth commandment,is the only one out of the ten,to which a promise is   attached,                                                                                                                                   I want us to go in depht of this commandment?                                             It states,we must respect farther and mother?who is the father and mother refered to?yes your biological parents,as well as any elder person,I bet you,God will not pat you on your shoulder by only honouring your biological parents only and dishonouring other elder people, but it's required of us to show respect to any other elders as well.                                                                                                               There is a contrast to this commandment, some don't respect their biological parents, but honour any other elders, according to me,that's not how it should be,in the fist instance,we first to showcase respect to our parents, than as well as to other elders.                                                                                                                                                       Peopleo, please don't twist the commandment,it clearly states, honour, father and mother, not, honour son and daughter as we nowadays do,by pleasing our friends and disregarding our parents.                                                                               I learned that long life,in the 4rth commandment is the reward to those, who honour their parents and elders,                                                                                                                                       What's your take on this?
